Job summary

PTW Energy Services seeks a commercial Electrician to support maintenance and construction in offices, camp facilities, and other non-process buildings. You will read drawings, install lighting, panels, feeders, and related equipment, and work with HVAC technicians to deliver safe, high-quality results.

You must hold a Journeyperson Electrician Certificate, have commercial experience in camps or industrial settings, and be committed to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certificate required.
• Commercial electrical experience in camps, offices, or industrial sites preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and ability to read drawings.
• Willingness to work shift rotations, overtime, and remote camp environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in camp facilities, offices, and non-process buildings.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs; adhere to codes.
• Install lighting systems, panels, feeders, conduit, cable tray, and related equipment.
• Support motors, control circuits, PLC components, and three-phase power as required.
• Complete terminations, hookups, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other trades on building maintenance projects.
• Ensure work complies with CEC, procedures, and safety requirements; document deficiencies.
