A leading gold development company is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician for the Blackwater Mine site in Canada. This role involves ensuring the safe and effective operation of electrical systems, providing technical support, and supervising maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will hold an Electrical Red Seal Journeyperson Trade Certificate and have experience in an open pit mining environment. This permanent position includes a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation and offers comprehensive benefits including paid time off and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications of Electrical Red Seal Journeyperson Trade Certificate.
• Experience in supervision and mentoring of personnel including apprentices.
• Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and M421 Use of Electricity in Mines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with change management procedures and maintain audits.
• Provide technical support and coaching on electrical systems.
• Project management of minor capital projects.
