Key Responsibilities

As a Journeyman Electrician at Four Alarm, your role will include:

• Installing, modifying, inspecting, and verifying fire alarm and intercom systems

• Running conduit systems, pulling wire, and terminating electrical connections

• Reading and interpreting engineered drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Performing electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting (training provided as needed)

• Completing and submitting electronic documentation and reports

• Providing operational training to clients and end-users

• Ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction on every job

• Complying with safety regulations, codes, and best practices

Qualifications and Requirements

• Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certification (AAIT) or equivalent (Red Seal preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of journeyman-level experience (flexible based on capability)

• Proficient with electrical meters, hand tools, and conduit bending

• Comfortable working independently or collaboratively on job sites

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, climbing ladders, and maneuvering tools

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Experience with fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment is an asset

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic digital platforms

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Wage: $40.00 - $47.00 (commensurate with experience)

• Vacation: Two (2) weeks paid or 10% vacation pay bi-weekly
