Industrial Journeyman & Apprentice Instrumentation Technicians – Medicine Hat

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently hiring Industrial Journeyman & Apprentice Instrumentation Technicians for our Medicine Hat branch. Work is located within the Medicine Hat region, therefore candidates must be local to the area to be considered.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Requirements

• Journeyman Instrument Certificate, OR
• Indentured Instrumentation Apprentice (3rd or 4th Year)
• Previous instrumentation maintenance experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector
• Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020 and Driving & Journey Management certificates
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have a flexible work schedule – shift work, overtime, weekends, and travel
• Ability to travel would be considered an asset
