Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in and complying with all plant safety programs.
  • Perform general manual work in the plant and quarry as instructed.
  • General cleaning duties, including shoveling, sweeping, vacuuming, hammering, etc.
  • Be prepared for confined space rescue operations and/or work at heights, if required.
  • Report safety concerns immediately to your supervisor.
  • Report environmental issues immediately to your supervisor.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes, including reporting on cleanliness levels of various plant areas.
  • Handle large parts and piping using various equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the plant and proper condition of tools and equipment.
  • Clean production equipment, conveyors, screens, etc.
  • Work at heights as needed.
  • Operate vehicles and small equipment (such as trucks, lifts, forklifts, tanker trucks, skid steers, vacuum trucks) for snow removal, raw material transport, and other tasks in buildings, on the ground, or on equipment.
  • Perform equipment clearing tasks, such as cleaning filters, chutes, hoppers, conveyors, etc.
  • Maintain good communication and collaborate for smooth operations within the department.
  • Assist cement plant operators with emergency interventions like cyclone blockages and snowmen.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in welding, diesel mechanics, or relevant work experience or training.
  • Successful completion of confined space rescue and height rescue training, with commitment to maintain these skills.
  • Comfort with computer tools.
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
