Job summary

Balcan Innovations Inc., via its Nelmar Security Packaging Systems division, is seeking a General Laborer for Terrebonne, QC. You will be the operator's right hand, preparing equipment and materials to feed our sophisticated packaging machines, with 12-hour day or night shifts.

This full-time, on-site position offers comprehensive insurance, a saving-plan contribution, on-the-job training, and growth prospects. Evening premium is $0.75 per hour and night premium is $2.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to work at a sustained pace.
• Pre-selection of applications is performed; only selected candidates will be contacted.

Responsibilities

• Supply the machine with the necessary equipment (blades, inks, resin, etc.).
• Assist the operator during the production of packaging films.
• Clean the machine regularly.

Position
We are looking for a great general laborer to join our production team. You will be the operator's right hand; you will take care of preparing the equipment and materials necessary to supply our sophisticated machines.

• Assist the operator during the production of packaging films.
• Clean the machine regularly

Requirements

• Good physical resistance required.
• Sustained pace.
• Ability to lift loads on a regular basis (approximately 50 pounds).
• Efforts to move the rolls of plastic wrap by pushing and pulling.
• Ability to work standing up.
