Job summary

Software International (SI) is seeking a Joint Venture Expert (JVA) SAP to drive a customer workshop in the Oil & Gas Finance space. The contract spans 24 hours per week with potential long-term renewal, focusing on discovery, planning, and validation.

You will serve as an SME for SAP JVA post-implementation, provide ongoing support, and lead process improvements across SAP JVA and S/4HANA RISe to enable scalable, automated solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Oil & Gas Finance Architect with JVA expertise.
• Ability to drive customer workshops and discovery phases.
• Knowledge of SAP JVA post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Joint Venture Accounting SME for SAP post-implementation.
• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and process optimizations.
• Identify areas for process improvement within SAP JVA and S/4HANA RISE to drive efficiency, scalability, and automation.
• Act as the liaison between the SAP JVA team and IT department.
• Leverage S/4HANA Rise to guide the business and IT teams through digital transformation.
• Define and document business requirements specific to upstream Joint Venture Accounting

Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring for a Joint Venture Expert (JVA) SAPfor our global SAP consulting client to work on a customer workshop in Oil & Gas Finance space.

Role: Joint Venture Expert (JVA) SAP

Type: Contract - 24 hours a week, total 216 hours for Workshop piece. If the client decides on solution, this will turn into a long term (1 year +) role

Salary Range: $90-100/hr C2C approx but there is flexibility for higher rate for the right candidate

Project Description:

We are working on Legal Entity Optimization solution for client. As part of this program, we are planning to start the Discovery phase (Planning & validation). We are loking for an Oil & Gas Finance Architect with JVA expertise to drive a customer workshop

• Serve as a Joint Venture Accounting SME for SAP post-implementation.
• Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and process optimizations.
• Identify areas for process improvement within SAP JVA and S/4HANA RISE to drive efficiency, scalability, and automation. Support business stakeholders in optimizing business workflows and system operations.
• Act as the primary liaison between the SAP JVA team and IT department. Ensure seamless collaboration, understanding of technical requirements, and delivery of solutions that meet both business and IT objectives.
• Leverage your expertise in S/4HANA RISE to guide the business and IT teams through the digital transformation, focusing on streamlining the integration of SAP JVA with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
• Define and document business requirements specific to upstream Joint Venture Accounting
