Job summary

The Horowitz Events Centre is seeking part-time technicians to operate lighting and audio for performances across our renovated venues. We’re looking for skilled professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment and can support roadhouse runs throughout show days.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills and a passion for helping clients realize great productions. Our technical staff are members of CUPE Local 1368, and Theatre Alberta Classifieds is hosting the posting.

Qualifications

• Experience as lighting or audio technician in fast-paced multi-venue environments.
• Stage managers comfortable with roadhouse work and same-day load-in/load-out.
• Strong communication and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate lighting and audio equipment for events at the Horowitz Events Centre.
• Support stage management and liaise with production teams.
• Assist with client needs to ensure smooth performances.

Jobs (Edmonton): Part-Time Technicians – Horowitz Events Centre

The Horowitz Events Centre is hiring part time technicians to work in the newly-renovated Horowitz Theatre and various spaces within our conferencing centre!

We’re looking for skilled lighting and audio techs with experience in a fast-paced, multi-venue environment. We’re also looking for stage managers that are confident working in a roadhouse venue, with shows often loading in and out in the same day.

Our team members need to have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping clients put on the best production possible. If you thrive in a dynamic, creative setting and enjoy the variety that comes with a role where no two days are the same, we would love to hear from you!

Our technical staff are members of CUPE Local 1368.
