Bach, Tots and Tiptoes Playdate Program
Soulocentric Performing Arts Society is looking for artists to present short, 15 minute performances featuring a wide variety of genres for its upcoming program called Bach, Tots and Tiptoes. Pieces may showcase a variety of styles including, but not limited to:
We are primarily looking for solo or duet based performances. Remuneration starts at $50 per performance. Emerging artists looking for performance opportunities are welcome to apply.
Artists will be performing for a family based audience of parents/caregivers with children aged 0-6. Pieces DO NOT have to specifically be “theatre for young audiences” but should be family friendly. Artists should be comfortable performing in a casual, intimate, flexible environment, tolerant of minor interruptions.
This objective of this program is to increase accessibility of the arts to the parent-tot demographic, expose them to a range of performing arts disciplines and foster an appreciation for the performing arts in both child and adults who attend. Artists are encouraged to showcase work from their current repertory and have lots of fun with this performance. Emerging artists are invited to apply.
