Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a Java-focused developer to work on initiatives that scale the platform. You will contribute clean code, implement scalable features, and collaborate with teammates to maintain and improve the system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of search and sort algorithms, data structures (lists, maps, trees, graphs), multi-threaded programming, networks and operating systems.
• Basic SQL knowledge; familiarity with non-relational databases.
• Strong written and spoken English communication; ability to work with users and the developer community.

The candidate needs to be a self-starter, a confident personality with good communication skills who can work with minimum oversight and handholding.

Qualifications

• Computing fundamentals: Working knowledge of common search and sort algorithms, basic data structures such as lists, maps, trees, and graphs, multi-threaded programming, computer networking, and operating systems.
• Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with non-relational databases.
• Communication Skills: Good oral and written English communication skills are required for this role. A successful candidate must be able to work alongside the users and the wider developer community in the firm and should also be able to communicate effectively with them.
