Overview

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java AWS Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of information technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in the IT/Software Services Industry with software development experience.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with products and services in GCP.
• At least 4 years of hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE/Spring framework.
• At least 4 years of hands-on development experience in developing responsive applications using Angular.
• At least 4 years of working knowledge of design and implementation of RESTful services.
• Good working knowledge of Unit Testing tools and test automation knowledge.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with modern technology development practices including but not limited to DevSecOps; continuous integration / continuous delivery; test automation; agile development and work management.
• Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development life-cycle.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server and/or Oracle and/or other relational, No-SQL data storage.
• Working knowledge of cloud middleware software solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment from multiple locations.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 89,004 to $115,491.
