Overview

Jasper Seasonal Rocky Mountainer Guest Experience Concierge (Seasonal Part Time March to October 2025). Location: Jasper, AB. Hourly wage: $25.05. Part-time, Seasonal.


Responsibilities


  • Guest Experience: In-Travel Assistance — Check guests in for their train journey, issue boarding passes, luggage tags, and hotel keys where applicable.

  • Special & Mobility Guest Requirements — Tailor experiences for guests with special requirements, ensuring their journey is comfortable and memorable.

  • Problem Solving & Guest Issue Handling — Act as the problem solver for guests, documenting, actioning, and following up on all guest inquiries; use CRM systems to access bookings and accurately document information.

  • Communication and Coordination — Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external partners (in person, via phone, email, and MS Teams) to ensure timely handling of all guest inquiries.

  • Train Arrivals/Departures — Escort guests on motor coach transfers; handle luggage; occasionally transport guests or team members in RM fleet vehicles.

  • Station/Guest Centre Aesthetics — Maintain high standards of cleanliness at Stations and Guest Centres to create a welcoming environment.

  • Leadership and Engagement — Foster a safe, respectful, and positive work environment; support onboarding, training, and communication; uphold RM brand standards; collaborate with station management to implement guest experience improvements; work with the Guest Experience Centre and Rail Trip Services to resolve issues and challenges.

  • Safety and Security — Ensure adherence to RM safety and security standards; promote a culture of safety; assist in emergency response procedures; promptly report and support investigations of workplace incidents.


Qualifications


  • Education/Certifications/Knowledge: Valid AB or BC Driver's License with demonstrated safe driving record; second language an asset.

  • Experience: Experience in tourism, hospitality, and/or customer service; experience using CRM systems (particularly Salesforce) is an asset.

  • Skills: Confident public speaking (including large groups and microphones); high attention to detail and organization; energetic, motivated, and committed to guest service; strong written and verbal communication; proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Safety-sensitive environment with exposure to railway operations; early mornings, evenings, weekends, and split shifts; possible overtime; must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds; required outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions; must be legally authorized to work in Canada through the end of the season (April - October).
