About the Project

We’re preparing a proposal for a nature-themed PC simulation game and are seeking freelance art support.

What We’re Looking For

We need a versatile artist who can create semi-realistic 3D assets and images (somewhere between realistic and cartoony styles). Some 2D/UI design ability is also an asset. For now, the goal is to produce visuals that reflect the intended gameplay and art direction for the proposal.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showing semi-realistic 3D game art.
• Experience producing assets for games (format/tools flexible).
• Ability to deliver high-quality visuals on a short contract.
• Must be a Canadian resident, ideally located in or near Montreal, QC.

Compensation

Short contract: up to 20 hours (2.5 days at 8h/day) at CAD $25/hour. This initial work is for the proposal stage. Opportunity for future work on the full project if funding is secured.

Important Details

This is an urgent project. Candidates will be selected by Sunday, August 31. Multiple candidates may be engaged based on portfolio review. Work will take place over a 2-day period (Monday–Tuesday). Selected candidates will be asked to sign a short contract including an NDA and IP assignment (to ensure project confidentiality and that assets created belong to the project).
