Job summary

A prominent logistics company in Calgary is seeking a Jack & Roll Rigger to assist in loading and offloading various over-dimension loads. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety practices and complete necessary paperwork. A Class 1 CDL is preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre job system evaluations and FLRA’s daily to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated.
• Assumes responsibility for loading, offloading, setting/centering load and block placing to ensure safe and accurate placement.
• Light troubleshooting when required.
• Ensures work activities are performed in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
• Ensures all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets including job numbers, FLRA’s, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
• Other duties assigned as required.

The Jack & Roll Rigger is responsible for assisting the loading, offloading, and setting of various over dimensional loads including modules and transformers. Also is responsible for following all company and client policies, practices, and procedures.
