About the Company Our client is one of the largest home improvement retailers in North America.They are looking for an IT technician who’d be able to hit the ground running with their hardware technical support duties. This is a 6 months contract with strong possibility of extension. Responsibilities :

• Identify hardware solutions and both diagnose and repair faults
• Troubleshoot printers and ensure there is proper connection
• Phone set-up for new employees
• Set-up RF scanners
• Speak with customers as needed
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Test and evaluate technologies
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• At least 1-3 years relevant experience
• Flexible – work after hours and on-call as needed
• Proven experience fixing hardware (i.e. printers, phones and RF scanners)
• High attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
