We are looking for an full time IT Technician to join our Helpdesk team. This position reports to the IT Operations Manager.

Daily
  • Manage and respond to technical support requests from the Montreal head office and all Stingray satellite offices (possibility of travel 2-3 times a year)
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues on various platforms and technologies, including meeting room equipment (videoconferencing)
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade workstations, laptops, and phones for employees
  • Create or update technical documentation
  • On-site work 4 days a week, with the possibility of up to 5 days depending on needs or events
Qualifications
  • Technical diploma or an AEC in computer science (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and audio‑visual equipment in meeting rooms
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Windows and macOS operating systems (in‑depth knowledge of Macs is an asset)
  • Good knowledge of device management tools such as Intune, JAMF
  • Proficiency with the Office 365 suite
  • Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) is an asset
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory (groups, users, objects)
  • Experience in a help desk environment and with a ticketing system, e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy, ZenDesk (knowledge of Jira is an asset)
  • Knowledge of security concepts, networking, and troubleshooting tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (Spanish is an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized, autonomous, and motivated
  • Ability to see objectives and initiatives through to completion
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, informal work environment
  • Identify and de‑escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • 24/7 technical support schedule shared with the entire team, occasionally requiring after‑hours interventions
