Job summary

Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government in hitac̓u, BC is seeking a Team Lead, IT Support to oversee IT systems, security posture, and vendor relationships while guiding the IT Helpdesk/Deskside Support team in delivering reliable, secure services that align with community priorities.

We require a post‑secondary IT credential and at least 3 years of progressive IT experience, including supervision. Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and network skills are essential; travel between facilities may be needed.

Qualifications

Post-secondary IT credential or degree; combination of experience and certifications may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Intune and network administration.
Proven experience managing vendor relationships, IT contracts, and service-level agreements.
Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy legislation, and IT risk management practices.
Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities as required.

Responsibilities

Oversee IT systems, cybersecurity posture, and vendor relationships to support organizational operations.
Provide leadership and work direction to the IT Helpdesk/Deskside Support personnel.
Draft and maintain IT policies, procedures, and service-level standards in consultation with management.
