Job summary

Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government in hitac̓u, BC is seeking a Team Lead, IT Support to oversee IT systems, security posture, and vendor relationships while guiding the IT Helpdesk/Deskside Support team in delivering reliable, secure services that align with community priorities.

We require a post‑secondary IT credential and at least 3 years of progressive IT experience, including supervision. Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and network skills are essential; travel between facilities may be needed.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary IT credential or degree; combination of experience and certifications may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Intune and network administration.
• Proven experience managing vendor relationships, IT contracts, and service-level agreements.
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy legislation, and IT risk management practices.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license and ability to travel between facilities as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT systems, cybersecurity posture, and vendor relationships to support organizational operations.
• Provide leadership and work direction to the IT Helpdesk/Deskside Support personnel.
• Draft and maintain IT policies, procedures, and service-level standards in consultation with management.
