🎯 What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers)
- Provide hands‑on support for production and warehouse operations, ensuring reliable performance of IT systems, servers, databases, scanners, and client PCs
- Maintain and troubleshoot network and infrastructure components including routers, switches, VLANs, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Manage and optimize virtual environments (VMware) – configuring, maintaining, and ensuring redundancy, failover, and regular backups
- Support and maintain telecom and security systems, including access controls, cameras, and alarm systems
- Collaborate with global and local IT teams to align solutions with broader organizational strategies
- Lead or participate in local production IT projects (e.g. Wonderware, PLCs, or automation initiatives)
- Recommend and implement improvements to processes, system integrations, and procedures
- Adhere to change management practices and ensure accurate, up‑to‑date documentation (BPP, SOP, project records)
- Deliver exceptional user support, ensuring clear communication, timely issue resolution, and high satisfaction
- Partner across departments to coordinate plans, resolve technical needs, and provide reporting and ad‑hoc IT assistance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency, uptime, and reliability across systems
⭐ What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist)
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience in IT systems support or infrastructure administration, ideally within a manufacturing and/or production environment
- Strong background in managing and troubleshooting enterprise networks, SQL databases, Windows Server environments, and virtualization platforms
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals – including VLANs, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure
- Practical experience managing and troubleshooting VMware environments, ensuring uptime, redundancy, and system performance
- Familiarity with Active Directory, SAP ERP, and Power BI reporting tools is an asset
- Background in manufacturing or distribution environments (including PLC systems) preferred
- Solid understanding of IT security systems such as access control, surveillance, and alarm infrastructure
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and communication issues under time‑sensitive conditions
- Excellent documentation discipline and familiarity with structured change management processes (BPP, SOP, and project documentation)
