Job Summary

MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our IT systems run smoothly and efficiently. As the first point of contact for technical support, you will provide exceptional troubleshooting assistance, resolve hardware and software issues, and help maintain a secure, responsive IT environment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level support to end-users via email, phone, or in-person regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems including account setup, connectivity, printer configuration, and operating system errors.

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, mobile devices, and peripherals.

  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and security protocols across all systems and platforms.

  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or vendors when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Monitor and manage ticketing systems to track and document issues and their resolutions.

  • Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.

  • Keep IT documentation, asset inventory, and knowledge bases up to date.

  • Support software deployments, updates, and patches as part of routine maintenance.

  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and compliance protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or desktop support role.

  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and common office applications (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Proficient in remote support tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or Remote Desktop.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or technical assistance role.

  • Prior experience in a corporate or multi-site environment is a plus.

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are advantageous.

Working Hours
  • Full-time: 40 hours/week

  • Monday to Friday

  • Flexible scheduling with occasional availability for off-hours or weekend support during emergencies or system maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of IT best practices in troubleshooting, software management, and end-user support.

  • Ability to document procedures and solutions clearly and concisely.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and protocols.

  • Strong customer service orientation and patience in handling non-technical users.
