A leading manufacturing company in Canada is seeking an IT Support Executive to maintain IT hardware and support network infrastructure. Responsibilities include administering servers and managing user accounts, with an emphasis on providing technical support in production areas. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in Windows and networking, along with familiarity in ERP/MES systems. This role offers a salary range of $3200 - $3500.

Qualifications

IT Support Executive - Manufacturing
5 days (Mon-Fri, 8am-5.45pm)
Location: Woodlands
Basic Salary: $3200 - $3500

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IT hardware, including PCs, printers, and barcode scanners.
  • Support and manage network infrastructure such as LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Administer servers, file storage, and domain controllers to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Manage user accounts, email systems, and access permissions through Active Directory.
  • Monitor and maintain IT security, including antivirus, firewalls, and data protection measures.
  • Perform regular system backups and ensure effective disaster recovery processes.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing and production systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain both standard and custom software applications.
  • Implement IT policies, maintain compliance with security standards, and manage IT assets.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and provide user support or training as required.
