Job summary

ALS is seeking an IT Support Technician to be the main point of contact for installation, configuration, initial inquiries, and troubleshooting requests in an enterprise environment. You will handle active directory tasks, install and configure servers and workstations, and support printers and peripherals.

Responsibilities include monitoring the service desk system, proactive network/server troubleshooting, and maintaining documentation across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional experience supporting Windows servers, LAN/WAN networks, and computers.
• Experience with Windows desktop OS (Windows 7/10) and Office 365 preferred.
• Knowledge of server OS and related applications (Windows Server 2012 onward).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues in an Enterprise environment.
• Active Directory tasks – account and object creation/modification.
• Install and configure servers, desktops/workstations and laptops, OS installations and upgrades.
• Install and configure printers and peripherals.
• Monitor helpdesk ticketing system and provide proactive support.
• Maintain systems documentation and assist multiple sites.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
