Job summary

Belron Canada, the home office of Speedy Glass, Lebeau vitres d’auto and Vanfax, invites applications for an IT Solution Architect - Applications. Montreal-based with hybrid work options, you will shape technology strategy, define architectures, and guide projects from concept to implementation across Canada and beyond.

The role requires 3–5+ years in solution architecture, solid experience with enterprise systems, cloud technologies, and Azure, plus strong communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or a similar technical leadership role.
• Experience implementing and integrating complex enterprise systems and applications.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure Cloud is considered a strong asset.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is required to support collaboration across Canada and internationally.

What You'll Do

• Drive Technology Strategy & Architecture
• Define, recommend, and evolve solution architectures aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
• Establish architectural principles, standards, and best practices that support innovation and sustainable growth.
• Design and document system architectures, integrations, and technology blueprints.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture objectives.
• Partner with Business & Project Teams
• Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, developers, and technical teams to define solution requirements.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
• Assess technical feasibility, risks, and costs associated with proposed solutions.
• Support project planning, scope definition, and technology decision-making.
• Champion Architecture Governance
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and target-state architecture.
• Drive consistency, efficiency, and reusability across platforms and applications.
• Review solution designs and provide recommendations to optimize performance, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
• Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovations that can enhance the organization's capabilities.

What You Bring

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or a similar technical leadership role.
• Experience implementing and integrating complex enterprise systems and applications.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure Cloud is considered a strong asset.
• Experience within retail, distribution, or high-volume transactional environments is an asset.
• Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bilingualism (English and French), both spoken and written, is required to support collaboration with stakeholders across Canada and internationally.
