Job summary

S&P Global, Inc. is seeking a senior technologist to design and implement API integration solutions and data delivery platforms. You will troubleshoot complex integrations, consult on data sharing into Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks, and lead migrations from legacy systems.

You’ll work with senior clients, drive automation, and contribute to KPI reporting. A strong technical background and excellent communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of proven experience in API integration and programming skills in Python, Java, JSON, SQL, XML.
• Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a technical troubleshooting background.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.

• Facilitate the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning within the team.

About the Role

Grade Level (for internal use): 12 The Team: The Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) provides Data & Distribution services to data producers within S&P Global. What We’re Looking For

• Proficient understanding of software systems and enterprise application development.
• Experience in Azure DevOps, Splunk, Salesforce, MS Excel, and PowerBI.
• Ability to generate insights from operational metrics and drive performance improvements.

Compensation & Benefits Information

(This section is only applicable to Canadian Candidates:) S&P Global states that the anticipated range of compensation for this position is 91,370 CAD to 186,138 CAD. Final compensation for this role will be based on the individual’s performance, geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
