Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Toronto is seeking a candidate to support the Cybersecurity Offboarding Management team. The role involves managing open share remediation and assisting the employee offboarding team. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in technology operations or cybersecurity operations, excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong communication skills. This hybrid role offers a possibility for extension or full-time employment and contributes to improving the Bank's cybersecurity posture.

Overview

Hybrid: 2 days, Wednesday and 1 other day of choice. Extension or FTE: Possibility for both. Contract Duration: ASAP - to 10/31/2026. Standard hours – Monday – Friday - 9:00 - 5:30pm.

Story Behind the Need

The Cybersecurity Offboarding Management team requires individuals to manage open share remediation and may provide back-up to employee offboarding team.

Business Group

Information Security & Control (IS&C) – Cybersecurity Offboarding Management, Identity & Access Management Operations

Project

Support secure offboarding processes, remediation of open shares and domain-authenticated access, and operational execution of IAM controls.

Candidate Value Proposition

  • Contribute directly to the Bank’s cybersecurity posture and risk reduction efforts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop expertise in identity and access management, offboarding governance, and remediation processes.
  • Present process improvement ideas up to Director level.
  • Gain exposure to enterprise-level security operations and controls.
Must have
  • 2–4 years of experience in technology operations, cybersecurity operations, or identity & access management (IAM)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleansing, reporting, and tracking.
    • Outlook: Managing high volume communications and follow ups.
    • SharePoint/OneDrive: Navigating shared drives, permissions, and folder structures.
  • Solid understanding of core technology concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work items with accuracy and urgency
    • Experience tracking tasks, documenting next steps, and maintaining audit ready records.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Security certifications or coursework
    • GISF, CISM, CRISC, CISA, Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate.
  • Hands on experience in IAM or cybersecurity operations
    • Access reviews, entitlement remediation
  • Experience with enterprise security tools or platforms (ServiceNow)
  • Experience with process improvement or operational optimization
    • Ability to identify gaps, propose enhancements, and streamline workflows.
