Alteo is seeking an IT Manager for a permanent position based in Montreal. Hybrid work. Working closely with the CIO, the IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure and ensuring the effective implementation and management of IT services. This role requires a strategic leader who can align IT goals with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and support innovation through technology.

Responsibilities
  • Help create and execute the IT strategy and build effective initiatives that support the company goals
  • Manage and lead the IT Team by providing clear direction and objectives, support, mentoring and coaching
  • Establish performance objectives, KPI’s and targets
  • Oversee the maintenance and development of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, software, and cloud servicesli>
  • Ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices for data protection and compliance
  • Analyze and coordinate IT projects, create timelines, establish budgets and drive constant improvements
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Engage with other managers to align IT strategy with business goals, demonstrating strong business acumen
  • Handle escalated support issues as required
Profile
  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
  • 5-10+ years in IT roles
  • 3+ years in a management position with a focus on networking, software, hardware, cloud, and systems infrastructure
