The Opportunity

At our Edmonton Head Office, we’re looking for a highly skilled, hands‑on IT Manager lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our IT systems and infrastructure. This role is both strategic and technicaloffering direction for enterprise systems while also troubleshooting, managing network performance, and supporting our head office and franchise network.

This is a 100% in‑office role, based at our corporate office in Edmonton, AB, designed to foster collaboration, agility, and integration with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the company’s overall IT strategy in alignment with operational and strategic goals
  • Actively participate in the technical execution of infrastructure and systems‑related projects
  • Manage and support day‑to‑day IT operations including server/cloud administration, hardware lifecycle, and network performance
  • Oversee the security and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring robust backup systems and firewall protections are in place and regularly reviewed
  • Oversee platforms such as ERP, SAGE and loyalty systems
  • Ensure compliance with privacy laws, data protection, and
  • Ensure the delivery of responsive and effective technical support across internal departments and the franchise network, fostering a culture of service excellence
  • Oversee IT vendors, licensing, contracts, and procurement
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT policies, procedures, and documentation to support operational efficiency, compliance, and knowledge management
  • Support the company’s growth by evaluating new technologies and driving system integration projects
  • Mentor and lead a growing in‑house IT team while maintaining a strong hands‑on presence
  • Champion continuous improvement and drive IT service excellence
What You Bring
  • Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Proven hands‑on experience with system administration, cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure), networking, endpoint security, and backup systems
  • Strong understanding of POS, ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, data governance, and IT compliance
  • Strategic mindset with excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience in a multi‑unit retail or franchise environment is a strong asset
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive in identifying and implementing tech‑driven solutions
Preferred Certifications
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+
  • CompTIA CySA+
  • ITIL Foundation
  • IT Project Management or equivalent PM certification
Other Requirements
  • Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Criminal background check required upon hire
