Confluence is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager – Cloud Platform to lead a multi‑year Azure migration, moving core products to a scalable cloud platform. You will own the operating model, standardisation and cost governance, blending leadership with hands‑on engineering to build reliable, supportable environments.

• 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform roles in enterprise or SaaS.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud platforms in Azure and AWS, with depth in one and exposure to the other.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Experience integrating infrastructure delivery into CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security controls, monitoring and cost governance.
• Proven track record managing live production environments, including incident response and change management.
• Leadership experience leading cloud or platform teams and establishing engineering standards.

IT Infrastructure Manager – Cloud Platform (Permanent, Full‑Time, Montreal, Canada)

Reporting to Radek Hruby.

Overview

This role sits at the center of a multi‑year Azure migration programme, moving several core products from legacy data centres into a modern cloud platform. As the IT Infrastructure Manager for the Cloud Platform, you will own the operational model, standardisation and scaling of these environments once they are delivered. The position blends leadership, technical decision‑making and hands‑on engineering to build reliable, supportable, and scalable cloud platforms.

• Experience in organisations transitioning from legacy infrastructure to cloud operating models.
• Experience supporting SaaS products or large‑scale cloud‑hosted platforms.
• Experience delivering or supporting migrations from data centre or hybrid environments to cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices within enterprise teams.
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with enterprise landing zones or cloud governance frameworks.
