The District of Kent, located in the picturesque Eastern Fraser Valley, is offering an exciting opportunity in our Corporate Services Department for an IT / GIS Technician.
Under the supervision of the Director of Corporate Services, the IT/GIS Technician will prepare and archive historical records, assist in the maintenance of the Municipal mapping database (including legal and utility servicing maps and drawings), web‑based development and maintenance, and website updates. The IT/GIS Technician also provides technical support, information, advice, and assistance (computer user support and problem resolution) to staff.

Pay and benefits for this full‑time bargaining unit position are in accordance with the Collective Agreement, CUPE Local 458. The 2025 post‑probationary wage rate for this position is $40.57 per hour plus a comprehensive benefit package.
