Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed reporting specifications, including required data elements, aggregation logic, calculated fields/formulas, and visualizations.
  • Identify and define data elements essential for report development, ensuring data availability and integrity.
  • Support the configuration of the SimCorp Investment Management Warehouse (IMW).
  • Collaborate with the Power BI development team to translate reporting requirements into actionable deliverables.
  • Define and execute test cases for reporting, and assist in resolving defects by providing necessary data and insights.
  • Coordinate with Safari teams to facilitate data mapping for downstream applications (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.
Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is a strong asset.

Experience

  • Intermediate to Senior-level experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and systems analysis, with a focus on financial applications and/or BI/analytics solutions.
  • Experience working with pension funds or asset management firms is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to align business needs with IT solutions, fostering agile, reusable, and sustainable approaches across teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and mining.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI for financial reporting.
  • Solid understanding of traditional database infrastructure, including Windows and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written).

Language requirements: Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to interactions with domestic and global clients.
