Leon’s Furniture Ltd. in Canada is seeking an experienced IT Developer to transform business ideas into reliable applications, working with Business Analysts and Product Owners.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong Agile/Scrum experience, and proficiency with C#, PHP, Vue.js, Node.js, SQL/PL/SQL, plus shell scripting. Experience with cloud and infra like MS Azure Cloud, IIS, Power BI, and databases such as Oracle DB, SQL Server DB, Cosmos DB is desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development or IT project environments.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology and Jira for requirements and task tracking.
• Proficiency with C#, PHP, Vue.js, Node.js, SQL/PL-SQL and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Transform business ideas and concepts into functional, reliable applications.
• Spot subtle bugs, risks, or design flaws early and address them.
• Continuously improve overall codebase quality and development standards.
• Drive adoption of best practices across the team and lead code reviews.
• Create and review technical documentation for ongoing support.

• Ensure timely delivery of projects and milestones and mentor peers.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this position is $65,000 - $80,000
