A healthcare partnership organization is seeking an IT Coordinator to provide hands-on IT support and ensure adherence to cybersecurity practices. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in IT, experience in healthcare, and excellent customer service skills. This role offers a hybrid work environment and a collaborative team culture that values diversity.
Venor is partnering with the Physician Assessment Centre of Excellence (PACE) in the search for an IT Coordinator. PACE is an innovative clinic and assessment centre created to help internationally trained physicians build their careers in Nova Scotia while providing much-needed primary care to patients. As a collaborative partnership between the Province of Nova Scotia, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia, and the Medical Council of Canada, PACE offers a unique blend of orientation, hands‑on assessment, and supervised clinical practice. This model not only supports physicians on their journey to independent licensure but also helps address the province’s access‑to‑care challenges—bringing skilled, compassionate physicians into communities sooner and strengthening the future of healthcare in Nova Scotia.
Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Coordinator will serve as the primary point of technology support across a dynamic and growing healthcare environment. This is a people-focused role that blends technical skill with a strong commitment to attentive, patient‑centered customer service. You will act as the face of IT for clinical staff, administrators, directors, and executive leadership, ensuring each interaction is professional, supportive, and solution‑oriented. Because PACE operates in an active patient‑care setting, the role requires discretion, adherence to PHIA/FOIPOP, and consistent application of cybersecurity and privacy best practices. The IT Coordinator position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can adapt to change, and wants to help shape technology processes.
Innovate for Change – Join a fast‑evolving organization where your ideas help shape technology processes from the ground up, improving healthcare access across Nova Scotia.
Your Contributions Matter – Work directly with a collaborative team that values curiosity, continuous improvement, and shared success.
Flexibility That Fits – Enjoy a hybrid work set‑up, regular office/remote balance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
At Venor and PACE, we embrace a culture of belonging in the workplace. No matter who you are, where you’re from, how you think, what you believe in, or who you love, we welcome your application. We all come from different backgrounds and different walks of life, bringing in unique perspectives and experiences. We encourage applications from 2SLGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC), women, newcomers to Canada, and people with disabilities.
