Job summary

Sanimax is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with Finance and IT, driving optimization of financial processes and ERP capabilities. You will map processes, gather requirements, and produce clear documentation for delivery teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in business analysis within finance/ERP, strong stakeholder skills, and ability to operate in bilingual environments. Hybrid work model and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting).
  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience, with finance/ERP experience.
  • Experience leading requirements discovery and stakeholder alignment in evolving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Transportation to identify improvements and optimize end-to-end financial processes.
  • Lead requirements discovery and workshops to understand, analyze, and prioritize business needs with stakeholders.
  • Map business processes, data, and ERP capabilities to recommend solutions that improve future-state financial information integrity.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements, process docs, user stories, and analysis artifacts for project delivery.
  • Lead initiatives from intake to deployment, coordinating resources, vendors, testing, risks, decisions, and delivery.

Reporting to the Manager of Business Analysis, you will act as a strategic partner to the Finance teams and serve as a key liaison between business users and IT teams. Your expertise will support decision-making, optimize financial processes, and ensure that technology solutions meet the organization's performance, compliance, and financial visibility requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Transportation teams to identify improvement opportunities and optimize end-to-end financial processes.
  • Lead requirements discovery activities and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand, analyze, challenge, and prioritize business needs, while driving stakeholder alignment and decision-making in environments where business processes, ownership, requirements, or governance structures may not be fully defined.
  • Analyze and map business processes, workflows, data, system integrations, and ERP capabilities to recommend solutions that optimize future-state processes and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements, process documentation, user stories, and other analysis artifacts to support project delivery and solution validation.
  • Lead business and technology initiatives from intake through implementation, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving, engaging the appropriate resources, and coordinating stakeholders, project managers, vendors, testing, risks, decisions, and deployment activities to ensure successful delivery and business outcomes.
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support users throughout the testing process, and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience, with significant experience supporting finance, ERP, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead requirements discovery, stakeholder alignment, and solution definition in fast-paced environments with evolving or inconsistently applied business processes, competing priorities, and varying levels of organizational maturity.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in vendor-led implementation environments and collaborating with external solution providers.
  • Experience supporting business transformation initiatives within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience supporting financial systems implementation and improvement initiatives, combined with a strong understanding of core financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Close, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Infor M3 is a strong asset) and with tools such as SQL, Anaplan, or other financial planning, analytics, and reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus across business and technology teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to structure complex problems, produce clear and rigorous deliverables, and effectively manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis and problem-solving, combined with curiosity, autonomy, and proactivity to challenge assumptions, understand business needs, and identify effective solutions.
  • Business Analysis certification (asset).
  • Fluency in both English (required) and French (preferred).
  • Fluency in English is required to ensure adequate support with English-speaking colleagues and partners within the scope of the position’s responsibilities.
