Manulife IT Business Analyst

Manulife is seeking to hire an IT Business Analyst, to become an influence in the technical and business projects with Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations teams.

Join forces with management to explore business problems, define requirements, and manage post‑implementation support.

Position Responsibilities
  • In charge of application support and delivering technical and business projects among different partners; generating analysis to enhance processes and projects within the Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations (LCG) portfolio.
  • Performs application support daily for numerous LCG applications which consist of on‑prem and vendor SaaS applications.
  • Researches and analyzes opportunities for improvement, conducts analysis, recommends and facilitates efficiency improvements.
  • Formulates business and technical requirement documents and specifications.
  • Collaborates with the management team to investigate and document business challenges related to workflow procedures and processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in application development or providing technical support for applications.
  • Experience with relational database structures and methodologies with SQL.
  • Development and Database: MS SQL, Visual Studio, .NET or similar, JavaScript.
  • Platforms and Tools: Proficiency in Azure or other cloud‑based platforms, Jira, and incident/change tracking solutions such as ServiceNow.
  • Previous experience with managing changes, addressing problems, and handling incidents.
  • Applicable undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.

Salary range is expected to be between

$75,880.00 CAD - $140,920.00 CAD
