Job summary

Techso, a fast-growing Canadian consulting firm, is expanding its team in Montreal. We seek a Senior Business Analyst to contribute to client projects nationwide, collaborating with business and IT architects to shape long-term value.

You will drive business cases, document current processes, and define MVP components while working in a flexible, hybrid environment with travel across Canada. Bilingual French/English is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in pre-project phases.
• Proven experience on large-scale, complex initiatives.

Responsibilities

Techso is expanding its team and is looking for a Business Analyst to contribute to client projects across Canada.

To Succeed In This Role, You Must

• Be mobile within the Montreal area, as you will need to adapt to your client’s schedule.
• Be fluent in both French and English (spoken and written), as both are essential for daily communication with colleagues and clients across Canada.
• Be comfortable working in complex and evolving environments.

• Clarify the business context, including stakeholders, issues, and objectives.

• Define solution components, including the minimum viable product (MVP).
• Estimate costs, efforts, and identify delivery risks.
• Contribute to implementation planning and high-level change management strategies.
• Collaborate on procurement-related activities and requirements.
• Participate in the execution phase, including product backlog management.
• Contribute to strategic business cases, particularly in financial and monetary exchange contexts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in pre-project phases (business cases, opportunity assessments).
• Proven experience working on large-scale, complex initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of autonomy, leadership, and influence.
• Strong attention to detail and rigor.
• Collaborative mindset with a client-oriented approach.
• Adaptability and comfort working in agile environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
