SysGen Solutions Group in Edmonton seeks an IT Administrator to manage a portfolio of SMB clients, keeping systems running smoothly and improving technology.

You will work hands-on with client environments, provide remote support, and build strong relationships, contributing to uptime, security, and user satisfaction. This role offers a hybrid schedule, ongoing training, and a collaborative culture where ideas matter and every win is celebrated.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience supporting SMB networks and systems.
• Proficient with Windows, Linux, macOS environments and Office 365.
• Strong troubleshooting and remote support skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize client systems, applications, and network environment.
• Provide remote support for remote users and on-site when needed.
• Perform server administration tasks including user/group administration and security permissions.
• Deploy/repair & replace services on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Check events/logs and escalate issues as required.
• Monitor backup/storage (SAN, NAS).
