Le cours aborde les différents rôles des professionnels de l'information, notamment celui de la formation relativement aux services d'information, celui de permettre aux utilisateurs d'effectuer des recherches indépendantes, et le rôle qu'ils exercent à l Le cours se penche également sur les questions liées aux technologies d'aide à l'apprentissage et sur ses différentes approches.
