Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to join the IS team for a large automotive client. This senior technical leader will design and evolve security solutions across a complex hybrid cloud environment while providing guidance to security engineers and governance support.

The role focuses on architecture, roadmaps, security engineering excellence, and cross-team collaboration to deliver secure solutions and support compliance with NIST and PCI standards.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in security-focused roles with architectural experience (min 3 years).
• Designing Zero Trust and SASE/SSE architectures.
• Strong identity security expertise (Entra ID, IAM, PAM).
• Experience with cloud security architecture tooling (CSPM, CWPP, SSPM).
• Knowledge of TOGAF, SABSA, ESA frameworks; experience in closed-source environments.
• Experience securing AI-enabled business solutions; familiarity with modern identity security architectures (Entra ID).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise security architecture across hybrid cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Develop security strategies, standards, and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on security design decisions.
• Conduct solution and code reviews for security engineers and technical teams.
• Support the implementation of Zero Trust security principles across the organization.
• Partner with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure solution delivery.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex security incidents and technical challenges.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to security engineers.
• Contribute to security compliance initiatives and framework adoption (NIST, PCI).
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled security capabilities, and advise on adoption opportunities.
• Support large-scale cloud and data center modernization projects as required.

This role will act as the senior technical security leader, responsible for designing and evolving security solutions across a complex hybrid cloud environment while providing technical guidance and mentorship to security engineers.

The successful candidate will help shape security architecture, establish technical roadmaps, review engineering solutions, and support key infrastructure and cloud security initiatives across the organization. This is not a people-management role, but rather a senior technical leadership position focused on architecture, governance, and security engineering excellence.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of working in a security-focused role with a minimum of 3 years of architectural experience.

Demonstrated experience designing Zero Trust and SASE/SSE architectures.

Strong understanding of identity-centric security (Entra ID, IAM, PAM).

Experience with cloud security architecture tooling (CSPM, CWPP, SSPM).

Experience working in Closed-Source environments - Knowledge of system design and architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, ESA is a plus.

• Experience securing AI-enabled business solutions
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity security architectures
