Job summary

Obsidian in Toronto is seeking a seasoned investor relations professional to own our in-house IR cycles, from earnings releases to Q&A and analyst engagement, shaping messaging for investors and the market.

You will craft guidance revisions, prepare materials for investor days and AGM, and assess ownership and activist risk to inform capital decisions. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in IR at a public company and excels in strategic communication and cross-functional collaboration.

About the work

We're building a high-quality library of public-company investor relations work products. You'll complete self-contained IR exercises from mock files (results packs, shareholder registers, analyst models) and produce the deliverable for each, graded against a rubric.

What you'll do

• Draft earnings releases, prepared remarks and Q&A briefings for a quarterly results call.
