Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking an Investment and Retirement Planning Financial Advisor to join the branch sales team in Ottawa. You will establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships, meeting or exceeding deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of your client portfolio.

You will conduct in-depth reviews for retirement planning and wealth accumulation, leveraging planning tools and knowledge of market conditions to deliver tailored financial advice.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
• CIFP/CFP designation or bank-recognized equivalent is required.
• Mutual Funds Representative license in good standing with licensing requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with assigned clients.
• Conduct in-depth reviews for retirement planning and wealth goals using planning tools.
