Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada in Ontario is seeking an Investment and Retirement Planner to create customized investment solutions for RBC clients. You will prospect, network, and collaborate with internal partners who refer clients to you, delivering world-class advice to help clients reach long-term goals.

You will provide planning using a broad suite of RBC and third-party products, build a client base, and coordinate with RBC professionals to continuously meet client needs and grow assets.

Qualifications

• Financial planning designation (QAFP, PFP or CFP) required.
• Mutual funds license (IFIC or CSC) required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in financial planning.
• Proven networking and client acquisition skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailor-made financial planning advice and solutions using RBC's investment and portfolio solutions.
• Acquire and consolidate existing and new-to-RBC clients and assets.
• Connect clients with the right RBC team members to meet their needs.
• Develop external business referral sources through networking and marketing.
