Job description

I am currently looking for an Investment Manager to join a privately owned, boutique Investor and Developer in PBSA. They are well backed and work with a number of largescale investor and operators to deliver schemes.

As a small business, this role would see you work across the full deal lifecycle, working on origination, capital raising, negotiation and management of model and capital stack from start to finish. You would be responsible for all investment related activity across the business.

The Investment Managers role will include :

  • Building and maintaining financial models for existing project portfolios and new investment opportunities.
  • Supporting underwriting of new projects, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Assisting in capital raising activities (equity and debt), including engagement with brokers, lenders, and investors (utilising their own network where possible to introduce new sources of investor capital)
  • Preparing investment materials such as pitch decks, financial summaries, and data rooms
  • Drafting early‑stage transaction documentation including Heads of Terms, and managing KYC / AML requirements
  • Managing the Due Diligence process of acquisition, sales & refinancing transactions (equity + debt). Coordinating with legal and accounting advisors during the transaction process.
  • Supporting monthly project drawdowns, including preparing capital call and budgeting schedules, processing payment runs and liaising with bookkeepers and lenders on a monthly basis.
  • Ensuring accurate fund transfers and compliance with lender reporting and documentation requirements
The Investment Manager is likely to have :
  • 5 plus years’ experience as an Analyst in the living sector
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience working with investors and capital raising
  • Willingness and desire to work across all business functions
Salary and package :
  • £70,000 - £90,000
