Investment Banking Analyst / Associate

How does the role impact the organization?

Our Investment Banking team of over 350 bankers across North America focuses on servicing corporate finance and financial advisory needs. We offer a comprehensive range of capital markets services, including mergers & acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and syndication. Our advisory services include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fairness opinions, and valuations.

The Analyst / Associate role provides significant business development and transaction experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and academic excellence.

What will your responsibilities include?

  • Collaborate with Analysts, Associates, VPs, and senior bankers across Canada and the US;
  • Conduct financial modeling, analysis, DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses;
  • Perform data analysis and industry research;
  • Build and maintain financial models and industry databases;
  • Update and maintain valuation tools and databases;
  • Assist in preparing transaction documents, pitch-books, and company profiles for business development.
