Vancity Capital Corporation is seeking an Investment Associate to drive growth and oversight of its impact investment portfolio. You will conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and support investment execution from idea to close.

This full-time role reports to the Managing Director and requires on-site presence in Vancouver for events, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, science, engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, capital markets or a related investment environment.
• Hands-on experience evaluating prospective investments through financial statement analysis, financial modelling, valuation, market research and assessment of key risks and opportunities.

Vancity Capital Corporation (“VCC”) is Vancity’s growth capital subsidiary, managing the organization’s exposure in private equity, venture capital, private debt, and select infrastructure, through both direct investing and fund investments.

Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As an Investment Associate, Vancity Capital Corporation, you will drive the successful growth and performance of Vancity Capital Corporation’s impact investment portfolio through disciplined investment execution and robust post-investment oversight. You’ll support investments from initial due diligence and financial analysis through recommendation, execution and ongoing portfolio monitoring, helping ensure high-quality investment decisions. Your work will contribute to investments that generate measurable social impact alongside positive financial returns.

This is a Full-time, Permanent reporting directly to the Managing Director, Vancity Capital Corporation . While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site at Vancity Head Office in Vancouver for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact:

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, science, engineering or a related field

• Experience supporting transactions through the investment lifecycle, including structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing
• Experience monitoring active investments and assessing financial and operational performance against investment objectives
• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear, practical recommendations

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a base salary of $125,000 per annum plus variable pay . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
