What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in White Rock is seeking an Investment Associate to provide dedicated support in investment & money management activities for a successful Advisory Team.

What will you do?
  • Execute trades and rebalance portfolios.
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Update investment models and monitor portfolios.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
  • Assist the team with marketing campaigns.
  • Help update team’s communication channels (websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters).
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.

The expected base salary range for this position is $37,500 - $45,000.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
