Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board is seeking an Investment Analyst in the Natural Resources team in Toronto. You will build financial models, evaluate opportunities, and work with portfolio companies to craft strategies that enhance value.
You will support due diligence, risk analysis and investment recommendations to senior leadership. The NR group covers mining, energy, timberland, agriculture and related assets, with a global portfolio and cross-functional teams.
As an Investment Analyst in the Natural Resources ("NR") team within the Infrastructure and Natural Resources ("INR") group, you will have a key role in analyzing potential private investment opportunities, executing transactions and working with existing portfolio companies to craft strategy and implement value-enhancing initiatives.

You will be joining our Toronto office, where you will work in a dynamic team-based environment, directly supporting senior team members in agriculture, timberland, mining and energy, across geographic regions. The NR group is a specialized private investments group with approximately C$12 billion of assets as of December 31, 2025. NR owns and manages investments in mining, energy, timberland, agriculture and natural climate solution sectors, located in North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The NR portfolio contributes real returns, income, inflation protection and portfolio diversification to the overall investment portfolio of Ontario Teachers'.
