Job summary

National Bank is seeking an Investment Advisory Services Associate to support Financial Planners by advising clients and aligning recommendations with the financial plan. You will collaborate with planners to identify opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth.

In this role you will help open accounts, guide clients on investment strategies, and develop your advisory skills in a leading financial institution focused on client well‑being and community growth.

Qualifications

  • DEC with three years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Mutual Fund Representative (MFR) designation is required.
  • Experience in business development within a financial advisory environment is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of investments and wealth management; proficiency with investment-related software and digital tools.

  • Work closely with the Financial Planner to provide enhanced support and service to clients.
  • Advise clients by actively listening and helping them make informed investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planner to identify business development opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth.

Job description

Your Role

  • Identify opportunities for referrals and collaboration with partners in both investment and lending solutions.
  • Open certain investment accounts and guide clients on the most appropriate investment strategies to achieve their financial goals.

Prerequisites
  • College diploma (DEC) with three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with one to three years of relevant experience.
