Job summary

Fastenal Canada in Dieppe is seeking an entry-level team member for store operations and customer service. You will inspect goods, process payments, and help customers with merchandise selection and inquiries, while maintaining inventory systems and records.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
• No experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or documents.
• Route goods to storage areas and pack for shipment.
• Unpack received goods and address customer complaints or concerns.
• Sell merchandise and receive payments.
• Operate inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
• Explain services offered and arrange billing, refunds or credits.
• Provide merchandise advice and conduct sales transactions online.
• Greet customers and discuss merchandise for purchase or lease.
• Maintain sales records for inventory control.
