Job summary

Bois Daaquam Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control, Receiving & Shipping Clerk to manage receiving, inspection, documentation, storage, and control of materials used in lumber mill operations.

Under supervision of the Procurement Specialist, you will maintain inventories, support purchasing, and coordinate shipping and vendor communications. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in inventory roles, experience with ERP/CMMS, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a pallet jack.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stores management, receiving, or procurement support.
• Experience using ERP, CMMS, or inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.
• Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, forestry, sawmill, lumber, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, document, and store incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor stock levels and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Support purchasing activities and provide backup procurement coverage.
• Organize warehouse operations and safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Coordinate shipping, repairs, warranty returns, and vendor communications.
• Track fuel usage and generate weekly/monthly reports.
• Follow up on outstanding supplier orders and reorders.
• Performs other duties as assigned to be deemed in the best interest of the organization.
