Job summary

City of Kelowna is hiring an Inventory Clerk to maintain stock in order and keep warehouse operations running smoothly. You will process purchasing transactions, manage warehouse stock, and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.

You will monitor stock levels, initiate replenishment, respond to inquiries, and conduct physical counts to resolve discrepancies. The role requires forklift operation, coordination with Purchasing and Finance, and adherence to safety and inventory control

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse or stock control.
• Familiar with ERP/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory records in ERP systems including receiving and issuing transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requisitions.
• Receive, inspect and verify shipments; prepare receiving documents and damage claims.
• Organize, label, and store inventory for easy identification and access.
• Assist with purchase orders, supplier coordination, and discrepancy resolution.
