Who we need
We're looking for a strategic communicator, trusted advisor, and strong storyteller to join our Internal Communications team on a 12-month maternity leave coverage contract.
In this role, you'll help shape how employees experience Securian Canada. You'll work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to deliver clear, engaging, and meaningful communications that connect employees to our strategy, culture, and purpose.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and turning complex information into communications that inform, inspire, and drive action. You'll have a high degree of autonomy, broad organizational visibility, and the opportunity to influence employee experience across the company.
This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of working from our Toronto or Waterloo office twice a month.
The expected base salary for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000 CAD per year, depending on experience. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

You'll also be part of a team that’s committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and who values diverse perspectives, so that you can be the person you want to be - both in, and outside, work.
If you have at least 70% of the qualifications we're looking for, want to work in a fast-growing, leading and progressive company, and feel driven to help Canadians and their families build secure futures - we want to hear from you!
